Rebecca W.

Just wanted to share with you a book that the older kids might like for today's feast or when you're doing history of the Americas. Dr. Warren Carroll wrote a small book on Our Lady of Guadalupe, with lots of the historical and mythical context of the apparition. It's amazingly well-written with Dr. Carroll's usual scholarly genius! :)

Our Magnum Opus

Ooo, I have that book and I've read it. Thank you for the reminder. I have enough older children now that they are ready for more meaty material than our picture books.
