My terribly stressed out, hard working husband (whose isn't?) is on his way into bad weather to bring our college guys home for Thanksgiving. The younger kids are climbing the walls while I try to get a start on Thanksgiving cooking. Getting Monica to and from work regularly is an adjustment. It's not far, it's just one more item on the 'to do' list and she is not here to help me! Fortunately for me, we just celebrated my favorite feast, the Feast of Christ the King, and we are coming up a fun feast that encourages gratitude. So I think I can make it through these 'hardships'. :)

So I am turning on more lights against the dark day, putting on some music, pulling out games, and baking goodies we can eat today, as opposed to being tortured by the smells of baking we have to wait two days to enjoy. And praising God in gratitude for every. little. blessing. I think of!
