This is so beautiful, Bridget! Truth and charity and hope and love, true love, all expressed so beautifully. Your friends are blessed to know you, indeed!

Praying along with you for all families of young people today! I don't know a single family that hasn't been wounded or scarred in some way or another. We've traveled a similar road to the one your friends must be trodding right now! Please assure your friends that prayer, mercy and love never fail (though the season when they bear fruit may seem a lifetime away)! We labor to bring our dear children into this world, but birthing their souls can be so much more difficult, lonely and painful. Your compassionate understanding and prayers will surely be a consolation to your friends as they birth their chidrens' souls for Eternity. Blessed are those who visit the struggling ones in their hour of need. Our family clung to these words throughout the trying years: Pray! Hope! Trust! Hold Fast! Keep the Faith! Love begets love! Jeremiah 29:11-14

as a mom who is struggling with some of the choices her adult children are making: THANK YOU!

Many prayers and blessings for you and your family

Bearing the Cross

We are also struggling with this cross. It is so painful and anxiety producing. A good priest told us 2 very helpful things: 1. Be careful that we don't let Satan convince us that we are failures at parenting and that our prayers don't make any difference. 2. Start the devotion "Our Lady, Undoer of Knots" which is also Pope Francis's favorite devotion.
