Our parish organized a visit of the Columbian Squires and other boys to our supreme court. They were welcomed by Justice Brian Zara, himself a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Justice Zara spent nearly two hours of his time talking with the boys and showing them around.
the boys were invited to try on robes!
Blaise (the supreme court will never be the same)
the group was joined by a good friend who works in the attorney generals office, E. and his son in front of him, Dominic. (We call him big Dom to distinguish him from our Dom)
After the court visit, they headed over to the Lansing Cathedral for Mass celebrated by our own Fr. G. who accompanied the group.
They finished off the day with a visit to the Michigan Historical museum.
Kevin said it was one of the best things he has ever done with our boys!
