This year we were thrilled to be able to attend Mass on Holy Thursday, services on Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. The children did very well through all of it. As Maria Von Trapp wrote about celebrating the great feasts with the Church, 'one is holily tired'. But never too tired for family feasting!
We decorate eggs while we wait on Holy Saturday.
After arriving home from Easter Vigil and the Alleluia breakfast afterward, Monica heroically stayed up even later to assemble the baskets so her mama could tend to the baby.

Isn't it wonderful when the older ones help with the preparations while you tend the baby.
While I have been very busy with unexpected complications with feeding baby 11 our Oldest daughter has been helping for feast times as well as other times.
