I have to come up with more positive blog post titles. But life is NOT smooth and orderly. Most of the time the goofy blips can be laughed off, or at least endured till they blow over, but it's overwhelming when you think you might deliver a baby at any minute. Talk about being in pre-labor for days... and days... and days... well that may be a little over dramatic.
~The little kids continue to be croupy, feverish and congested.
~Regina has her First Confession interview and is quite stressed, though she is well prepared. It's just her nature, poor thing.
~We are getting many inches of snow dumped on us and we have kids spread hither and yon. (I wonder what it's like to deliver at the local hospital a few miles away, rather than our usual one that will take well over an hour to get to in this weather. Without my husband and dear doctor.)
~Maria decided to cut hunks out of the side of her hair. She now has a cute , short bob. It won't really hide the uneven layers but at least they will blend as they grow out in the next year or so.
~Serious cabin fever is causing serious rowdiness in the house. You know your boys are in trouble in life when a boy half the size of his brother, while CORNERED, continues to goad and mouth off as if he isn't about to be pummeled and has no chance of escape. (They were only playing, it wasn't a real fight. But still... common sense...)
~We rearranged the living room, which could be a good sign for me that nesting has kicked in and that means we'll have the baby soon. Only we don't want it to happen in this weather with sick kids, so maybe that's not such a good sign. See. Ack.
O Bridget - I am praying for everyone to be well soon. So exciting though that you are so close to delivering. I will be praying you through the next few days. I'll pray for better weather too.

Ooooohhhhhh, You're so close!
BOYS.....GIVE YOUR MOTHER A BREAK, WOULD'YA????
Resist re-arranging furniture until the snow stops, at least. :) Let that good ol' Dutch resistance kick in....

...maybe God has to tie up a few loose ends for you first??
I remember labor being way late for kid #5...the kids had an interesting rash like thing that would have been bad to expose the baby to.
God's timing is best...hoping you go in well rested!!
Wish I could help you nest and bring over some goodies! I am all for ignoring my OWN dishes and laundry any day!! ;o) LOL
