The poor little girls are so sick. They have it much worse than Dominic did. Here we are back in the full school work and activity schedule and mom mostly sits soothing the invalids, applying Calamine lotion, medicating, bathing them etc. Little sleep is happening and way too many movies. The upside is that I'm reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe to my third set of children. (You always try to double and triple the bang for your buck with these things.)
Blaise is the last child that needs to get it. But he could be immune. When the older children had chicken pox Blaise was a baby and only had about 8 spots. According to what I read at the time, that wasn't enough to be immune but so far he has had several exposures and not gotten the pox. He may have gotten off easy on this one! We'll see in a few weeks.
As with most childhood illnesses, one of the first places I go for information is Dr. Sears. The information on the website is well laid out and assumes the parents have common sense.
Please pray for Regina especially. She can hardly swallow with the pox in her mouth and is miserable. We're headed out to the pediatrician with her shortly.
