The Feast of All Saints. We celebrate those the Church has declared are sanctified and those who are sancitified but unknown.
We have been blessed that our parish hosts a fabulous All Saints party, that begins with the holy sacrifice of the Mass. Then it's on to good food, games, a jumpee thingee, (my kids tell me it's a moon walk) a hayride, and the infamous pie eating contest, all celebrated by many young saints in costume.
Queen Ester, Saint Longinus, a Tutonic knight, the Blessed mother, and a sweet princess waiting to be saved by the fearless St. George (Kevin J. went dressed as Kevin J.)
Kevin was the MC for the pie eating contest

In the end the pie prince lost to his own daughter, the lovely Abigail is now the pie princess!
My friend, Dianne took my place in the candy bagging job...
