We had our first snow last night! Really beautiful with the fall colors.
Alex was inspired to write a poem.
Snow Flakesby Alex (age 11)
Snow flakes falling from the skySnow flakes softly drifting byWith winter skies so whiteJust like the snow that came last nightWith snowmen, snowmen on the lawnAnd the pink and rosey dawn.

I love the language of Alex's poem. Isn't it great when a child is so inspired?
