For years my children just thought that orange juice had oily bubbles on top. Then my oldest caught me putting cod liver oil in the juice glasses one morning. I convinced him to keep it to himself but there was an information leak somewhere and the news spread fast. Now they all know.
Fortunately they were good natured about it, and being used to the morning dose, they were good sports and kept chugging it down.
I was giving it to them for the EFAs . I haven't had time to search out studies on good immunity related to cod liver oil but I am positive they get sick less when I give it to them consistently.
LOL! My kids always thought the orange juice tasted strange when they had it at Grandma's because there was no oil in hers! We recently switched to capsules, which are not as "potent" but I still find the kids are healthier than when they do not take it.

Oh how good you are to give the kids cod liver oil (you too Rebecca). This never even occurred to me, but how wonderfully healthy for them.

Bridget, I bought some to do this... how much do I put in say, 1 cup of orange juice? Thanks!

Hi JoAnna, I put a teaspoon in each glass. The older children should probably have more but I wouldn't be able to keep track of whose glass is whose.
