Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Just One More

  • Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my Mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Saviour. Intercede with Him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Our Daily Bread

We love home baked bread and Monica is learning how to bake it!100_2402

It is important to me that she learn, not only the mechanics of keeping house, but the joy of doing it with love.100_2403  She is well on her way to becoming an excellent keeper of the home if that is God's intention for her.100_2412

We had that same experience today! I truly hope I can pass on to my daughter the logistics of meal planning and house keeping. Those are the most important lessons. Your daughter seems to have mastered bread - those are lovely photos. (First time visitor - love your blog!)

Looks YUMMY!! How old is Monica? I think it's time to teach Abby the art of breadmaking. Your home looks so cozy!

Monica will be ten in a couple of weeks. What a help to have an older girl!

Good for her!!! Yea!!! I remember my dad teaching me how to bake bread, how rewarding and fun it was. I think I was probably about Monica's age. Good point....about the "joy of doing it with love."
