Loveliness of Autumn
During the long, cold spring, I often wish to live in a warmer state. In the fall I am so glad to be here in Michigan. The mellow, golden sun and crisp, cool evenings of fall are such a pleasure after roasting all summer. Each season has it's own lovely characteristics but fall is my favorite.
The textures of fall are flannel sheets, wool sweaters, and corduroy jumpers.
The scents of fall are baking spices, soups and stews, and bonfires.
The images of fall are rich colors in the leaves, pick up football games in the yard, home baked pies, and a cornucopia of the harvest.

Gorgeous!
And so very true.
